If Only Your Boss Knew Everyday Feels Like Hell

You love your job. It’s what brings home the bacon for you and your family.

You find fulfillment, purpose, and satisfaction with the work you do. Best of all is that you work with really great people who understand you and value your contribution.

Last year you got a promotion and a raise for your contributions to the company. Things were really on the up and up.

But then dramatic and unexpected happened. Now your co-workers and even your boss are not as enthused about you as they were only a few months ago.

And worst still is, you have no idea what to do about it.

It’s gotten so bad that yesterday you were called in to your boss’ office. While usually these short meetings are full of a blend of chit-chat, fun banter and a little pat on the back for a job well done, this one was starkly different.

You were chastised. There was a sternness in his demeanor. He didn’t smile. Instead, you were given a stern warning:

Pick up your productivity and your output, get your work done, and stop dragging around the office or you would be out of a job!”

You were told to consider it a probationary period. You have 60 days to improve or expect a notice of…
