Our name can be attached to our ego. When we build our identity around who we are based on our name or job or roles we serve in, we can lose touch with the deeper inner self that is our true essence. That’s what the man with no name is communicating. One way to look at this story is that all four characters represent different aspects of ourselves that all are operating within us at the same time. Sam the joyful and excited witness to life. Jeff the one who wants to know everything up front and has a kind of negative or doubtful perspective on things. Steve the curious adventurer who is more intuitive and open to new experiences. And the Man who is, the representation of a more divine presence that flows in the energy of peace, joy, and Love.

As for what people experience when they think of you, I can speak from my own experience that when I think of Topher I think of kindness, generosity, creativity, a true friend, and someone who goes above and beyond to bless others. If there’s another way to identify you outside of your chosen name, I would say Blessing and Kindness.
