It’s noisy in the herd. Crowded. Congested.

The road is big and wide. Everyone is here.

Yet we don’t move forward very quickly. Or when we do, it’s in spurts, and only a few of us at a time.

There are louder voices coming from people who seem to try and be leading pockets or groups of us in a certain direction. Not necessarily forward, but the promise that we’ll be able to move forward is what they give us.

They’re the ones telling us what we’re supposed to be doing.

Some of these louder voices are people we’ve paid a lot of money to in order to get access to their wagons on this cattle trail into unknown territory and potential fortune. Their wagons and methods are supposed to contain a treasure trove of helpful tools to move us forward in our journey. And sometimes they do give us some good tips and nuggets that help.

But the promised roadmap to success is the big thing they’re all selling, just different versions and iterations of it. With different branding on the packaging.

These charismatic and successful business people claim that they used to be just like us, struggling endlessly to make ends meet. Spending money they didn’t have to try and make it. Then they found something that worked…
